| BARBERTON –Delores “Dottie” Bednarik, 78, passed away March 14, 2008. Mrs. Bednarik was born in Akron and had resided in Barberton the past 19 years, moving there from Norton. She thoroughly enjoyed bartending at the Holiday Inn in Montrose and all the friends she made there, was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan, especially the Browns and was a Charter Member of the Akron Browns Backers.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul “Pike”; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kim Bednarik; daughter, Kim Houser and son-in-law, Bob Houser, all of Barberton; many other loving relatives and special pets, Bentley, Molly and Suzy. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Monday, Rev. Bob Denton officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 4904 Quick Road, Peninsula, OH 44264 or Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333-6118. | ||
