| Gail Jeroldine "Teddy Bear" Bailey, 81, died April 16, 2006. Mrs. Bailey was born in Cuyahoga Falls and had resided in Akron since 1940, moving here from Cuyahoga Falls. She was past president for 3 terms of the VFW Clarence Mains Post 1070 Aux, member of the Past Presidents Club of Summit County and the Past Presidents Assoc. of the Department of Ohio. She was also a Citadel Soldier of the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Donald, parents, Dave and Alda Bartlett, step-son, Donald Bailey II, brother, David Bartlett, sister, Phyllis Duncan and nephew, Gilbert "Mike" Bartlett and is survived by her daughter, Jeroldine Copeland; granddaughter, Kellie Copeland; brother, Gilbert Bartlett; beloved niece, Lilly Jean Bartlett and a host of relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Captain Lynda Butts officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army 190 South Maple St. Akron, OH 44302. | ||
