| Helen L. Aldstadt, 93, died September 29, 2006. Mrs. Aldstadt was born in Konawha County , WV and had resided in Akron most of her life. She received her BA in Education from the University of Akron and retired from the Twinsburg School System in 1978 having taught at Chamberlain High with 25 years service. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and had been a leader in Bible Study Fellowship and a teacher at Cornice Hill and Akron Bible Institute.
Mrs. Aldstadt was preceded in death by her husband, John David and daughter, Jayne Louise Hershey and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Phillip and Carole Aldstadt of Houston , TX ; grandchildren, Andrew Aldstadt of Akron and Stacey Aldstadt of Riverside , CA ; sister, Marilynn Mueller of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and –nephews. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls . A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Monday in Hope United Methodist Church, 2650 Cory Ave., Akron , OH 44314 , Rev. Kenneth J. Baillis officiating. Friends may also call at church for one hour prior to service time. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church or Haven of Rest Ministries, P.O. Box547 Akron, OH 44398-6110. | ||
