Adolph “Otto” Craig, age 70, of Fultonville, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the Westchester Medical Center, after being stricken.
He was born April 15, 1938 in Gloversville, a son of the late Edward Craig and Anna De Marco Craig.
Mr. Craig served his Country in the U.S. Army from September 15, 1956 until his honorable discharge on November 17, 1957.
Otto was employed as a carpenter foreman until he retired due to disability.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Doris Jambo Craig; one son Aaron Craig and his wife Cheri of Fultonville; one daughter Lorraine Wellman and her husband Randy of Fonda; three brothers Joseph Craig and his wife Angie of Flushing, Aaron Craig and his wife Jeanine of Pelham, and Jimmy long and his wife Emmy of Colorado springs, Colorado; three sisters Kathy Serrano of Augusta, Georgia, Jeanie Soto and her husband Tony of Staten Island, and Peggy Mandelos of Flushing; Sister-in-law Margaret Bellinger and her husband Alan of Gloversville, Mary Ann Coons of Johnstown, and Susan Streeter of Duansburg; brother-in-law Peter Jambo of Fultonville, and Steven Jambo and his wife Gail of Fort Hunter; three grandchildren John, Amanda, and Travis; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a daughter Ramona Craig September 10, 2006.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Fonda.
