| | | Judith D. Siver, age 67, of St. Johnsville, passed away on Sunday November 23, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was born March 26, 1941 in Palatine, to the late Thomas Claburn and Nicolena Swank Claburn.
Judith was employed for many years as a school bus driver in Johnstown, she was last employed at Falk Industries, until she retired in 1998 due to illness.
She was a member of the Believers’ Fellowship Center in Johnstown, and also was a member of the Sammonsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxillary.
Survivors include her husband Ronald K. Siver whom she married June 28, 1985; two sons Anthony J. (Carolyn) George Jr. and James (Tina) George Sr. both of Johnstown; two daughters Cinthia Lewis of Gloversville and Mary (Roger) Newkirk of Johnstown; two brothers Thomas Clayburn Jr. of Palatine and Wheeler Claburn of Johnstown; three sisters Sally Miller of Johnstown, Patricia George of Johnstown and Betty Hall of North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her first husband Anthony J George Sr. on April 16, 1980; two sisters Virginia Allen and Marie Claburn; one brother Leo E. Claburn Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Pastor Philip W.B. Carey will preside.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday prior to the services from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
