| Patricia Ann Brooks, age 67, of Bleecker, passed away on Monday February 16, 2009 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, after a long illness.
She was born April 24, 1941 in Gloversville, a daughter of the late Clark Jackson and Viola Marcellus Jackson. Mrs. Brooks attended the Bleecker Community Church. She was employed as a Glove worker for local company’s and in later years she was a homemaker. Her hobbies included hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, and going to the casino. Survivors include her husband George S. Brooks whom she married March 14, 1959; a daughter Kathleen A. Konik of Bleecker; two brothers Marvin Jackson and his wife Karen of Gloversville, and Lanny Jackson and his wife Pam of Gloversville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bleecker Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to the American Cancer society or to the American Diabetes Association.
