| Beverly J. Morey, age 67, a resident of Gloversville, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, after brief illness. She was born August 16, 1942 in Gloversville. A daughter of the late Walter Andrest and Edna Blowers Andrest. She was a homemaker. Beverly was an active volunteer for the Gloversville Senior Center and the Salvation Army.
Survivors include her husband Robert F. Morey Sr. whom she married on December 24, 1960; three son’s Robert F. Morey Jr. and his wife June of Gloversville, Jeffrey Morey and his wife Tina of Sammonsville, and Howard Morey and his companion Melissa Valk of Johnstown; three daughters Deborah Beck of Tribes Hill, Laurie Zack and her husband Joe of Hagaman, and Jennifer Morey of Gloversville; one sister Sylvia Hindes Gayle of Amsterdam; one brother Howard Hindes and his wife Lorretta of Johnstown; 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother and sisters and their spouses Elwood and June Andrest, Irene Korkaz, Ralph and Pearl Andrest, Louise and Mike Falacco, Emma Andrest, William and Alice Andrest, Beatrice and Harold Dingman, Geraldine and Ray Hynes, Mary and Jim Fisher, Cecil and Anna Hindes, Caroline Hindes Morey, Ray and Geraldine Hindes, and Teresa and Joe Rebisz. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Friends and family may call on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mayfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to the Gloversville Senior Center 53 church Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
