| Helen B. MacVean 88, of St. Hwy 67 died Monday Sept. 21. "Betty" as everyone knew her went to be with the Angels. This was perfectly fitting since she was an angel to all who knew her. Born August 29,1921 in Gloversville. She was the daughter Ford & Freida Wessendorf Handy. Betty attended Gloversville Schools. She was a Homemaker and a Glovemaker for various Glove manufacturers in the area before her marriage. She was a former member of Ladies Fulton County Farm Bureau and the Crossroads Home Bureau. Robert R. MacVean Aug 15, 1942, he died Nov 7, 2004. She is survived by One son Robert F. (Mary) MacVean of Johnstown. Two daughters Eileen (Steven)Pelosi of Johnstown. Nancy MacVean of Johnstown. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousns. She is Pre deceased by her brother C. Ford Handy. A Memorial service will be held 11:00am Wednesday Sept. 30 at A.G. Cole Funeral Home Johnstown with Dr. Rev. R.W. Williams officiating. There will be no calling hours. Cremation was in Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
