| Elizabeth J. “Betty” Mulligan, age 84, of Gloversville, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility, after an extended illness. She was born on June 8, 1925 in Rockwood to the late Ross Hayner and Edna Chatterton Hayner.
Mrs. Mulligan was employed at St. Thomas Inc. of Gloversville until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the North Bush United Methodist Church. Betty was predeceased by her first husband Roy Stoller, she then was married to Albert F. Mulligan on January 19, 1974 and he died February 16, 2008. Survivors include one son Gary Stoller (Linda) of Meco; three daughters Carole J. Thompson (James) of Henderson, Nevada, Charlotte J. Stoller (Dennis McNally) of Baldwinsville, and Donna L. Goodemote (Allen) of Fort Collins, Colorado; one brother Ben Hayner (Beverly) of Rockwood; two sisters Josephine Snell (Albert) of Caroga lake, Ada Heroth of Caroga Lake; six grandchildren Todd Stoller, Tanya Stoller Grant, Tracy Goodemote, Craig Goodemote, Beth Thompson, and Philip Semprevio; seven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by a brother Ralph Hayner, and two sisters Beatrice Christman and Della Dillenbeck Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. The Dr. Rev. R. W. Williams will preside. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in North Bush Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Meco Volunteer Fire Company or to Mountain Valley Hospice 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, New York 12078.
