| Phillip J. Jones, age 66, of Bleecker, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville, after long illness. He was born on June 12, 1943 in Stony Point to the late Benjamin Jones and Kathleen Marsh Jones.
Mr. Jones was employed with New York Bituminous as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of the Caroga Fish & Game Club. On July 10, 1965 he was united in marriage to Audrey Conklin Jones and she passed away on March 30, 2003. Survivors include two sons Phillip W. Jones Jr. (Cheryl) of Delmar, and Kevin A Jones of Troy; one daughter Sherry Brennan (Robert) of Port Jervis; one sister Shirley Tanner of Florida; two step grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.. A memorial services will be conducted on Monday at 7:00 p.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. The Dr. Rev. R. W. Williams will preside. Friends and family may call on Monday prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
