Robert P. Warner Sr., age 47, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Syracuse University Hospital, after brief illness. He was born on July 17, 1962 in Gloversville to the late Donald L. Warner Sr. and Florence A. Van Aernam Warner.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoors, camping, swimming, and stock car racing. He loved to cook, spending time with his family and holidays.
Survivors include three daughters Noel Chest, Nicole Warner, and Alyssa Warner; three sons Robert Warner Jr., Brandon Warner and Matt Chest; six brothers Roy Warner, Donald Warner Jr., Ronald Warner Sr., Richard Warner, Russell Warner Sr., Roger Warner Sr.; two sisters Shirley Lang, and Sharon Carpenter; three grandchildren Genesis, Maryssa, and Dylan Chest; his companion Toni Ferguson; nieces; nephews and cousins..
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. The Rev. Linda Martin will preside. Friends and family may call on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow at Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the William H. Barkley Educational Fund.
