Jerry S. Freudenberg, 70, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Jerry was a lifetime resident of Gibson County and retired from Hurst Manufacturing in Princeton where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Patoka United Methodist Church, Columbia Masonic Lodge 450 and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 281 all in Patoka. Jerry is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ronald Young of Greenville, Indiana and a daughter, Jana Vaughan of Vincennes; 4 grandchildren, Jason and Brian Young, Danielle and Nicole Vaughan; 1 great granddaughter, Ashlynn Reno. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Janet P. Freudenberg, January 7, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. CST, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Greg Davis. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
