Robert D. Luttrell Sr., 71, passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Robert was a truck driver for the past forty years retiring in 2000. He had lived in the Ft. Branch area for the past 8 years, moving from Owensville where he had lived for 35 years.

He was born on April 23, 1938 in Princeton, Indiana to Clyde and Amy (Carlisle) Luttrell Sr. who preceded him in death along with 2 brothers, Jim and Clyde Luttrell Jr.; 2 sisters Louise York and Janet Heilman; and twin infant granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer Manning.

Carl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy (Thomas) Luttrell; 2 children, Tammy (Glen) Hayes of Owensville and Rob (Joanie) Luttrell of Haubstadt; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy and Nicole Manning, Cassie, Sean, Sam, and Ben Luttrell; brothers and sisters John Luttrell of Bruceville, Bill Luttrell of South Carolina, Shirley Ann Hullen of Pennsylvania, Georgia Helen Terry of Ragsdale, In; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 15, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at the Maumee Cemetery in Johnson, In. Visitation wil be from 4 until 8 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
