Each obituary also offers you the opportunity to leave an on-line memorial. Each personalized memorial will be forwarded to the family.

So if you are unable to physically attend the visitation or funeral service, you can still express your personal condolences. Your condolences will not immediately appear on the web site. They have to be reviewed and approved by the funeral home before they will be placed on the web site.

Elizabeth Nann "Beth" Barkhurst, 60 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at her home in Princeton. She was born February 7, 1949 in Marble Hill, Missouri to Hadley and Ruby Kirkpatrick who preceded her in death. She graduated from Vincennes University with degree in accounting. She worked at the Patoka Banking Center as a teller. Beth loved being with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and bible study. She was a very loving mom and had a smile for everyone. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Love Barkhurst of Moosul, CT; daughter & son-in-law, Renee & Robert D. Merrill of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Robbie, Ryan, and Regan Merrill, and Sunshine and Bear Barkhurst; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann & Jerome Ganes of Marble Hill, MO; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Friday August 28, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Patoka United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until service time Friday evening at the church. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
