Mary Louise Onyett, 86 formerly of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at CORE Nursing and Rehab in Evansville. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #451-Oakland City. She was born September 3, 1923 in Oakland City, IN to Rostrus & Sophia (Stilwell) Smith, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Onyett on August 15, 2009. Mary is survived by her son, Donald L. Onyett of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter and her husband, Karma & Rick McLaughlin of Charlotte, NC; and a brother and sister-in-law, Charles & Charlotte Smith of Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with the Pastor Charles Gipson officiating. Burial will be at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
