Kathleen Barrett age 73 passed away Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Gibson County, Oct. 4, 1935 to Ivan and Mildred (Garrett) Roberts. She had lived in Gibson County all of her life. Kathleen had been a hairdresser and owned and operated a Beauty Shop out of her former home on Warnock St. for many years. She was a member of the Princeton Hairdressers Association, and had formerly attended the Enon General Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Pam and Stephen Weber, Princeton, two grandchildren; Leslie Jett, Evansville and Brandi Weber at home, a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jeanette Roberts, Paducah, KY, two nephews, Dale and Mark Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Joe Barrett in 1993 and son Robert Joe Barrett in 1998. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating Burial will be in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
