| | | Judah Elijah Hicks, 24, passed away on Monday September 28, 2009 at Especially Kids in Shelbyville, IN., where he lived for 20 years. He was born on May 28, 1985 in Oakland City, Indiana.
Judah is survived by his father, Calvin Hicks of California; mother and step-father, Karen and Steve Fulcher of Oakland City; brother, Caleb Hicks of Vincennes; half-sister, Jamie Sova; maternal grandmother, Imogene Peters of Oakland City; paternal grandparents, Floyd Calvin and Bernie Hicks of Columbus, TN; paternal grandmother, Marlene Maves of Columbus, TN.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. Henry Peters and his great grandmother, Katherine Peters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Pentecostal Church, Hwy 64 East, Oakland City, IN with the Rev. Pat McCandless officiating. Burial will be at the Blackfoot Cemetery in Pike County. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Thursday at the church. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christmas Fund at Especially Kids, 2325 S. Miller St., Shelbyville, IN 46176. Envelopes will be available at the church and at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.
