| | | MATHIAS HOOSE SOUTH BURLINGTON — Mathias (Matt) Hoose, 57, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 22, 2008, in an automobile accident in South Burlington. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Helen (King) Hoose; two daughters, Angel and her husband Troy Siple of Ferrisburgh, April and her husband Chris Winegar of Shelburne; seven grandchildren, Corey, Mandy, Tyler, Brittany, Brandon, Ashley, and Megan; one great-granddaughter, Savanna; his three sisters, Betty, Brenda, and Ty; his two brothers, Daniel and Kim; his very dear friends, Jack and Linda Cash; his canine companion, Mckenzie; and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Arnold, and his mother Evelyn; and a sister, Lana. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. in the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Chapel, 71 South Union St., Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Vermont Alzheimer's Association, 172 N. Main St., Barre, VT 05461 4124.
