STAFF John B. Christian, Funeral Director/Embalmer, President Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral and Cremation Service. A native of Belpre Ohio, John enlisted in the United States Navy after graduation from High School during the Vietnam Era. After serving in the military, John attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he received his Mortuary Diploma in 1975. After serving his apprenticeship he was employed as a licensed Funeral Director and licensed Embalmer in Bristol, Rhode Island. Before moving to Alliance he was also employed at a Funeral Home in Port Clinton, Ohio. Currently John serves on the Board of The Alliance Chamber of Commerce, also as a member of the Alliance Area Development Foundation, the Lexington Ruritan Club, a member of Conrad Masonic Lodge #271 F&AM, a 32nd Degree Mason as well a member of The Tadmor Temple. John is a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He resides in Alliance with his wife Dian and has two children, Adam and Ashley.
Ken Cox, Funeral Director, Secretary/Treasurer Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral and Cremation Service Ken has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1955. His financial background stems from his involvement with Federated Funeral Directors of America for over 10 years. He became acquainted with John Christian while working with Federated Funeral Directors. Through this acquaintance Mr. Cox played a key role in the purchase of Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home and its success. Ken is a member of The Lutheran Church in Barberton; also he has served as president of the Wadsworth Rotary Club as well as a Masonic Lodge member.
Nancy Castellucci, Licensed Funeral Director Nancy was born and raised in Alliance. A 2006 honors graduate of Mt. Union College, Nancy has completed the necessary requirements to become a licensed funeral director. She has completed training with the Outlook Group and has received her insurance license. She is involved with many other activities including the Alliance Kiwanis Club, and was recently re-elected to serve a three year term on of its Board of Directors. She is a member of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as Chairman of the Women's Division. She has been a past volunteer Soccer Coach for a U14 Boys Soccer Team in Alliance. She was also a past host Mom for three years and served as chairman of the Alliance Area Ulster Project for two years, and is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Alliance. Nancy lives in Alliance and two sons Matthew and Russell.
Rodney Brown, Support Staff Rodney a native of Minerva has been involved in some aspect of the funeral industry most of his life. In Minerva he worked for 13 years for Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home as well as the Minerva Ambulance Company. After the ambulance service closed, he went to work for the Alliance Ambulance Service and City Coach Livery Service for 8 years. He also was employed by Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. He and his wife Linda serve as Columbiana County Grange Deputies overseeing 14 Subordinate Granges. Rodney is also a 7th Degree member of the National Grange and a 6th Degree member of the Ohio State Grange. Rodney and Linda have two children Alisa Kemph of Uniontown and Christopher of Alliance.
