David Bogner Family Funeral Home is owned and operated by David and his wife Mary Beth. They are assisted by David's parents, Harold and Kathy Bogner, Tom Winterich and Rachel Liguzinski. Harold and Kathy have been serving the community since opening Bogner Funeral Home in 1963. Tom Winterich and Rachel Liguzinski are licensed funeral directors and embalmers and have extensive experience in the field.

David Bogner is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He began his career in funeral service in 1983, while working with his parents in North Ridgeville. He has owned and operated the David Bogner Family Funeral Home since 1996. Prior to that he had gained experience working at various funeral homes in Lorain, Vermilion, Cincinatti and Columbus while attending college. He grew up in North Ridgeville and is a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Adminstration from The Ohio State University, and a degree in Mortuary Science from Cincinatti College of Mortuary Sceince, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Spring of 1991. He has received many awards including the Charles Dhonau Memorial Award for highest excellence in Embalming technology. David enjoys serving his community in many ways. In addition to working at the funeral home, he volunteers his time with several community organizatons. He has served as president of the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce, the North Ridgeville Lions Club and has served as an officer of the Knights of Columbus, North Ridgeville Council 7970. He currently serves on the Business Advisory Council of North Ridgeville City Schools. He also volunteers as manager of St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mary Beth Bogner is a licensed funeral director. She received her Bachelors degree in Education from Ashland University. Mary Beth grew up in North Ridgeville and is a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. She gives back to her community by volunteering her time with several community groups. She is currently serving as Secretary of North Ridgeville Arts Council. She and her husband David are blessed with two children, Samantha and Nicholas.

Tom Winterich is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with over 30 years experience. Before joining the staff in July, 2008, Tom managed two funeral homes in the Norwalk area and had previously worked with a Cleveland funeral home for over 20 years. Tom graduated from St. Edward High Shool in Lakewood and attended Cleveland State University. He graduated with Honors from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Tom is a member of the Ohio Embalmer's Association, the American Society of Embalmers and past President of the Embalmer's Association of Cleveland. Tom and his wife, Barbara have been North Ridgeville residents since 2000. They have a daughter, Carolyn who is married, living in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Rachel Liguzinski (nee Mate) joined the staff in September of 2005. She served her apprenticeship and received her license as a funeral director and embalmer while working in Johnstown, Ohio. Prior to joining the staff at David Bogner Family Funeral Home she had worked four years at a funeral home in Cleveland. She received an Associate of Arts Degree from Lorain County Community College. She attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where she received her Bachelors Degree and was recipient of the Ohio Embalmers Association Lester W. Wakeham Award for demonstrating excellence in the combined theory and practice of embalming. Rachel is a local native having grown up in Vermilion and has been a resident of Lorain County most of her life. Rachel and her husband Todd have resided in North Ridgeville since 2002 and share their home with their wonderful son, Evan.

Harold and Kathy Bogner are licensed funeral directors. They started the first funeral home in North Ridgeville in 1963. They both are truly committed to funeral service and continue to be active funeral directors.
