| | | Ralph C. Bryant Sr., age 75, of Eaton Twp., passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, following a long illness.
Born in Newport, Tennessee he was a resident of Eaton Twp. Since 1983 moving from Cleveland.
Mr. Bryant served in the US Army.
Ralph worked as a conductor for River Terminal at LTV Steel in Cleveland for 37 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of United Transportation Union and enjoyed going to flea markets in Litchfield and hunting and fishing.
Survivors include daughters, Sheila (Milt) Pritt of Cleveland, Marguerite Smith of Odessa, Texas, Dawn Scott of Avon; son, Ralph Jr. (Dawn) of Grafton; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Willadean Ottinger and Marilyn Ramsey both of Newport, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah in January; son, Scott Powell; daughter, Royanne Amidi; brother, Carl William Bryant; parents, Roy and Belva Bryant.
Friends may call Friday from 7-9PM and Saturday from 10 AM until he time of services at 11 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bill Shomo will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
