Benny William Wright | | VIEW/SEND CONDOLENCES
| | | Benny William Ben Wright, 74, of North Vernon died at 8:46 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Mr. Wright worked at Carquest Auto Parts for five years, retiring in 1998. Previous to that, he was a truck driver in Indianapolis for 30 years. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis. He enjoyed assembling model cars, collecting airplane plates, wind chimes, NASCAR and professional basketball.
In keeping with Mr. Wrights wishes, cremation is planned. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon.
Born April 29, 1934, in Linton, Mr. Martin was the son of Wendell and Cecil Smith Wright.
Surviving are his companion, Marietta Gray of North Vernon; three sons, Brett Wright of Greenwood, Brian Wright of Indianapolis and Benny William Bill Wright, Jr., of Danville; a stepdaughter, Ann Holloway of Phoenix, Arizona; and a brother, Greg Wright of Indianapolis.
