| | | Judith Ann Ross, 67, of Madison died at 7:10 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2008, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.
Mrs. Ross was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers. She was a 1959 graduate of North Vernon High School.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon with the Rev. George Severn officiating. Calling is from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Born November 28, 1940, in Terre Haute, Mrs. Ross was the daughter of Sara Jean Lane-Lytle of Indianapolis and the late Richard C. Lane. She married Dorance Ross on January 25, 1959, at First Baptist Church in North Vernon.
Surviving with her husband and mother are two sons, Rob Ross of Rising Sun and John Richard Ross of Elk City, Oklahoma; a daughter, Lee Ann (Norman) Hare of Milton, Wisconsin; a brother, Bill (Bonnie) Lane of Madison; two sisters, Sally Jo (Jim) DeHoney of Indianapolis and Lisa (Greg)Grimes of Nashville; and three grandchildren, Brittany Ross of Matthews, B. J. Hare of Milton and Summer Mulholland of Dillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her father.
