William H. Cummins IV

William H. Cummins IV, 44, of North Vernon died Saturday, September 6, 2008, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Mr. Cummins had lived in Indiana since November 1993. He was employed by Tradesman International as a welder and was working in Providence at the time of his death. He enjoyed collecting knives, antiques, working on automobiles and living life to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon.


Mr. Cummins was born July 20, 1964, in Salem, New Jersey.

Surviving are his wife, Kellie Cummins of North Vernon; a son, William H. Cummins V of North Vernon; his stepfather, Dave Stiles of Tennessee; a brother, Dave Stiles, Jr., of Tennessee; and uncle James Tonkin, a nephew, Steven Shimp, Jr., and cousins, Dawn Franks and Carol Savage.

He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Cummins III; his mother, Margaret Stiles; sisters, Sue Cummins and Ellen Cummins; and grandparents, James and Evelyn Tonkins.
