| | | Jack McNamee, 69, of Scipio died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008, at his home.
Mr. McNamee was the owner and operater of A1 Upholstery in Chandler, Arizona for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed being a handyman.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 19, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon with the Rev. Bob Weeks officiating. Calling is from 11 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Born September 15, 1938, in Jennings County, Mr. McNamee was the son of Orliss Ellis and Helen J. Campfield McNamee.
Surviving are his mother, of Scipio; a brother, Marvin Lee (Elsie) McNamee of Clifford; and two sisters, Wanda (Robert) Lamaster of North Vernon and Georgia Ann (Edward) Hines of Scipio.
He was preceded in death by his father.
