Janet Sue Mikesell, 46, of North Vernon died at 11:03 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Mrs. Mikesell had worked as a cashier at Bi-Rite Oil Company in North Vernon for six months. Prior to that, she was a cashier at Circle K Oil Company in North Vernon and had been the owner and operator of D & R Carpet in South Bend. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in North Vernon and enjoyed her dogs, lawn ornaments and jewelry. Cremation is planned and there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon. Mrs. Mikesell was born August 28, 1962, in South Bend. She is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Rex Albert Mikesell.
