| | | Mary Louise Proctor, 52, of North Vernon passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Proctor was a 1974 graduate of Jennings County High School and a 1993 graduate of the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus.
She worked as a DST at Muscatatuck State Hospital in Butlerville from 1976 to 2005 and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Madison State Hospital from 2005 to 2008. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon and a former member of Swing & Swayers Square Dance Club.
She enjoyed square dancing, camping, family time, crafts and scrapbooking.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon with the Rev. Stephen Donahue officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Born in Columbus on December 10, 1955, Mrs. Proctor was the daughter of Richard H. and Mary Alice Bucci Ebbing. She married Daniel R. Proctor on May 4, 1974, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Robert Drewes.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Michael (Misty) Proctor and Joshua Proctor, both of North Vernon; a daughter, Amanda (Daniel) Johnson of Butlerville; brothers, John (Rose) Ebbing and Eugene (Elizabeth) Ebbing, both of North Vernon, and Tony (Darlene) Ebbing of Napoleon; sisters, Cathy (James) Wardrop, Theresa Peacock and Rosemary (Tom) Hyde, all of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Gavin and Elijah Proctor of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
