Betty June Stark



  VIEW/SEND CONDOLENCES
 
Betty June Stark, 69, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:40 p.m. on November 18, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mrs. Stark worked for Jennings County School Corporation as a Head Cook, School Bus Driver, and Custodian for over 17 years. She was also a Foster Grandparent Bus Driver for 3 years. Mrs. Stark was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in North Vernon, where she served as the church Treasurer, a Sunday School teacher, and as church decorator. She enjoyed arranging flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, attending church and participating in all church activities.

There will be a private funeral conducted on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana, with the Rev. Randy Andrews officiating. A private family visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be at the Rush Branch Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the First Assembly of God Church in North Vernon.

Born May 28, 1939, in Plainfield, Indiana, Betty was the daughter of Luther Crouch and Gladys Bartholomew Crouch. She married Donald Crouch, Sr. on November 18, 1956, in North Vernon, Indiana.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Donald Edward Stark, Jr. of North Vernon; two daughters, Jeanne Lynn (Mark) Bailey of Zenas and Gladys Faye Woods of Paris Crossing; one brother, John (Judy) Crouch of Indianapolis; two sisters, Vera Jarrett of Tampa, Florida, and Carolyn (James) Caudill of Dupont; and five grandchildren, Mathew Bailey and Dawn Bailey of Zenas, Joshua Woods of Vernon, Caleb Woods of Commiskey, and Alice Woods of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Aaron Lee Stark; one sister, Pearl Hughes; and four brothers, Glen Crouch, Harold Crouch, Charles Crouch and Ed Crouch.
