| | | Mark Randall “Doodle” Huff, 52, of North Vernon, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Huff formerly worked for Townsend Tree Service from 1984 to 1992 as a trimmer. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army serving from 1974 to 1976. Mr. Huff was a 1974 graduate of Madison High School, a member of Deputy Alumni Association, Lick Branch Baptist Church in Deputy, Indiana, and he attended Solid Rock Community Church in Wooten, Indiana. His hobbies were swimming, camping and spending time with his family.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Deputy, Indiana, with the Rev. Mike Shuler officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Deputy, Indiana. Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.

Born July 21, 1956, in Scottsburg, Indiana. Mark was the son of Jasper and Norma Lou Ray Huff Jr. His mother survives. He married Sue Oak on April 11, 1997 in Decatur County, Indiana. She survives.
Surviving with his wife and mother are; two sons, Ryan Huff of North Vernon, Indiana, Brian Huff of Dupont, Indiana; two daughters, Sarah (Dale) Lester of Hanover, Indiana, Angela (Dale) Hendren, of Mississippi; two step-daughters, Monica (Mike) Smith of Hawaii and Mindy (Jamie) Goldsberry of Seymour, Indiana; two brothers, Danny Dale Huff and Tim (Nancy) Huff both of Deputy, Indiana; three sisters, Barbara Jean (Rick) Warren and Brenda (Ron) Cardinal both of Deputy, Indiana, and Teresa (Rick) Shuler of Austin, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Shyela, Shadyn and Seth Smith all of Hawaii, Bradley and Markus Hendren of Mississippi, Isiah and Lakaya Huff of Dupont, Indiana, and Alivia and Kash Goldsberry of Seymour, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his Father.
