Lance Allen Green, 31, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008, at 4:29 p.m. in Commiskey, Indiana. Mr. Green was employed as a Union Electrician and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 481 Union. He was a 1995 graduate of Jennings County High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball, golfing, and riding motorcycles. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana, with the Rev. Joe Mayes officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be through Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home to Hospice of Jennings County. Online Condolences may be given to the family at www.dovesharprudicel.com. Born May 24, 1977, in Madison, Indiana, Lance was the son of Mark Green and Leta Leveridge Green. Surviving along with his parents, is his companion, Jennifer Hackman of Seymour, Indiana; one brother, Mark (Chris) Green of Paris Crossing; one nephew, Bret Robbins of Paris Crossing; one grandmother, Evanna Green of North Vernon; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Robert Green, and grandparents, Bruce and Ida Leveridge.
