| | | Donald “Danny” Damon Robbins, 47, of Medora, Indiana, formerly of Jennings County passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Schneck Memorial Hospital in Seymour, Indiana.
Mr. Robbins worked for Marble Hill Power Plant in Madison, Indiana. Previously he was an independent concrete finisher and worked for Robbins Plumbing. He attended Jennings County High School in North Vernon; was a member of Lilly of the Valley Christ Church in Clear Springs, Indiana; and attended Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Medora, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Born September 9, 1961, in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of Donald O. and Evelyn Juanita Golden Robbins. He married Christine Crossman on February 14, 2000, at Lilly of the Valley Christ Church in Clear Springs, Indiana.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana, with the Reverends Herschel Joslin and Ronnie Bays officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Medora, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be through Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.

Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Jeneda Watts of Carrollton, Kentucky, Ginnie Robbins of Kentucky, Rebecca Fields, Sarah Fields, and Breanna Fields all of Medora, Indiana, and Tiffany Swaford of Dupont, Indiana; three brothers, Steve Robbins of North Vernon, Robert (Beth) Robbins of Commiskey, and Tony Robbins of Knoxville, Tennessee; one sister, Vickie Hollingsworth of Crothersville; and three grandchildren, Dakota, Stephanie and Kyle Watts all from Carrollton, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kay Pennington.
