PATRICIA W. ALLEN Patricia “Wendy” Allen died after a battle with cancer at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab Center in Cedarburg on Friday evening, September 19, 2003. She was 65 years old. Ms. Allen, of Chateau Court in Grafton, was born in Sheffield, England on March 1, 1938, daughter of Walter S. and Kathleen E. McInnes Humphry. She came with her family to the United States during World War II, and settled in the New York area. Wendy traveled throughout the world as an US Army officer’s wife, handling all of the responsibilities that come with that position and raising three sons. She and her family eventually settled in the Saukville area around 1979. Ms. Allen then took a position as a receptionist at Mequon City Hall. She enjoyed dancing, taking care of her family and her grandchildren. Wendy is survived by her 3 sons: Randy (Kim) Allen of Germantown, Scott (Tammy) Allen of Port Washington and Michael (Becky) Allen of Saukville, 7 grandchildren, and 1 sister, Andrea (James) Kiebler of Orlando, FL. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 22, 2003 at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington at 6PM. Pastor Mark Voll will officiate. Entombment will follow the next day at St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Monday from 4-6PM. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
