VIOLA J. ANDERSON Ms. Viola Anderson, formerly of Fredonia, passed away Sunday evening, November 16, 2003, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. She was 88 years old. Viola was born on December 3, 1914, daughter of Peter D. and Susan Didier Kultgen in the Town of Port Washington. She raised her family in rural Port Washington and was a shipping clerk at Sprague Electric in Grafton, retiring in 1980. Ms. Anderson was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington and enjoyed embroidery and baking. She was well known for wonderful popcorn balls, German potato salad and homemade bread. Viola is survived by her 5 children, Dennis Anderson of Fredonia, Carol Roska of Waupun, Sandra (Donald) Truebenbach of Fredonia, Beverly Anderson of Port Washington and Deborah Lenz of West Bend. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She is preceded in death by 1 son, Roger, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and her special friend Thomas Pawley. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 20, 7PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 403 W. Foster St., Port Washington. Pastor John Klieve will officiate Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Port Washington. The family will receive friends at the Church Thursday from 4-7PM. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
