Earl F. Abramowski


Mr. Earl Abramowski, of Oak Court in Port Washington passed away Monday morning, August 16, 2004 at Columbia St. Mary’s Campus in Mequon. He was 77 years old. Earl was born in Milwaukee on March 16, 1927, son of Emil E. and Emma A. Druminski Abramowski. He entered the United States Army in 1945 and served until 1947. He moved to the Port Washington area in 1965 and worked as a laborer at Bolens. Earl was an avid Packer’s fan and also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing Cribbage at the Port Washington Senior Center. He was a member of the American Legion Gen. William Mitchell Post 388. He is survived by his 5 children: David Abramowski of Haslet, TX, Daniel (Mary) Buffalo, MN Debra (Jim) Rieck of Grafton, Denise (Ron) Larson of Tomahawk and Dale (Lina) Abramowski of Palintine, IL, 11 grandchildren, 1 sister, Joyce (Allen) Bierle of Milwaukee, former wife Rose Marie Doyle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by 1 sister, Gladys (the late Edward) Bauer, 1 granddaughter, Megan Lee Abramowski, and his long time friend and companion Marilyn Howard. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2004 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Rev. Marilyn Borchardt will officiate. He will be placed to rest in Union Cemetery, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4-7PM. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
