Marie F. Albinger


Mrs. Marie Albinger, of Cedar Lake Communities in West Bend, formerly of North Dries Street in Saukville, passed away Monday evening, March 26, 2007. She was 88 years old. Marie was born in St. Michaels, WI, on October 6, 1918, the daughter of Anton and Catherine Berris Schaeffer. She was united in marriage with Clarence Albinger on June 22, 1946 at St. Michaels Church in St. Michaels. He preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Albinger was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville, a former member of the Christian Mothers and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing and taking care of her family. Marie is survived by her three children: Janet Durante of Reno, NV, Gilbert (the late Terry) Albinger of Port Washington, and Donald (Holly Roge) Albinger of New Berlin and 7 grandchildren. She is further survived by 3 sisters: Ann Bruendl of Las Vegas, NV, Rose Gross of Port Washington, Eleanor (Frank) Herriges of West Bend, a brother, John (Florence) Schaeffer of Waukesha, brother-in law Lawrence (Marian) Albinger of Cedarburg, sister-in-law Doris (Ray) Thelen of Plymouth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers, Lawrence and Edward Schaeffer. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 31st, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Mass starting at 11AM. Father Karl Acker will officiate. Marie will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saukville. The family will receive visitors at the CHRUCH on Saturday from 9:30-11AM.
