We are proud to be family owned and operated since 1924, and now have the fourth generation involved in the family business.

In every aspect, Farrar Funeral Homes maintain a tradition of personal attention to our families' needs and individual desires. We offer professional direction of services, whether held in the funeral home, church, cemetery, mausoleum or other private facility.
In this our 86th year of service to the residents of Jefferson and surrounding counties, our growth has been both structural and service-oriented. We have grown from a simple storefront business in downtown Jefferson City to three ample facilities respectively in Jefferson City, Dandridge, and White Pine. Our services have grown to include at-need arranging of services, preplanning, cremation packages, direction in monument selection, assistance in obtaining cemetery plots and floral tributes, as well as this online venture into the internet. We have also recently begun offering the service of video tributes to the families we serve. This is a wonderful way to help a family celebrate and share the life of their loved one.
