 | James C. Farrar Funeral Director/Embalmer Mr. Farrar is the eldest son of the late Roy E. Farrar, Sr. and has been employed with the firm for more than 60 years. He is co-owner of the firm and has successfully continued his fathers' organization. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Tennessee and is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City. Jim is married to the former Agnes Watkins of Talbott. They have three children, James Russell Farrar, William Roy Farrar (deceased), and Britt Clayton Farrar. |  | R.E. "Toad" Farrar Funeral Director/Embalmer Mr. Farrar is the middle son of the late R.E. Farrar, Sr. and has been employed with the firm for more than 55 years. He is co-owner of the firm and has successfully continued his fathers' organization. He is a licensed funeral director and a licensed embalmer in the State of Tennessee and is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Dandridge. He is married to the former Helen Ward of Jefferson City and they have three children, R.E. "Rick" Farrar III, Pamela Farrar, and W. Jackson Farrar. | | | Joe T. Farrar Funeral Director Mr. Joe Farrar passed away on Friday, April 15, 2005 at his home after a brief illness. He was the youngest son of the late R. E. and Aline Farrar and was employed by the firm for more than 50 years. He was a licensed funeral director and active in the Leadvale Baptist Church and many other community activities. Joe was married to the former Betty Goforth and they have two children, Sherri Pewitt and Angela Pressley. Joe's funeral was held on Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the Leadvale Baptist Church. |  | Britt C. Farrar Funeral Director/Embalmer Britt is the youngest son of James C. Farrar and has been employed with the firm for more than 25 years. He is co-owner of the firm and in now continuing his grandfather's organization. He is a graduate of Carson Newman College and the Cincinatti College of Mortuary Science and is a licensed funeral director and a licensed embalmer in the State of Tennessee. He is active in many local organizations, including the Jefferson City Fire Department, where he serves as deputy fire chief. He attends First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City and has two sons, Tyler Farrar and Taylor Farrar. |  | W. Jackson Farrar Funeral Director/Embalmer Mr. Farrar is the youngest son of R. E. "Toad" Farrar and has been employed for more than 30 years with the organization. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Tennessee. He is co-owner of the firm and is now continuing his grandfathers' organization. Jack is currently serving as president of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association. He attends First United Methodist Church in Dandridge and is married to the former Tammie Barbee. They have two children, Laura Farrar and Kelly Farrar. |  | E. Bruce Frazier Funeral Director/Embalmer Bruce is a graduate of John A. Gupton College of Embalming and is a licensed funeral director and a licensed embalmer in the State of Tennessee. Bruce has been employed by the firm for more than 40 years and is married to the former Jewell Watson of Jefferson City. They have three children, Rick Watson, Angie Hensley, and Rhonda Reed. |  | Reverend Jerry E. Colbert Funeral Assistant/Grief Counselor Reverend Colbert is a graduate of Emmanuel Baptist College in Atlanta, Georgia and has served as pastor of Big Springs Baptist Church in Dandridge for more than 14 years. Jerry joined the staff in 1994 as grief counselor and funeral assistant. He is married to the former Linda Capps of Dandridge. They have four children, Tammy Colbert Hackney, Tracie Colbert Earl, Tonya Colbert Grigsby, and Tina Colbert Brooks and are all active members of the Dandridge community. |  | Fred Caustic Funeral Director/Embalmer Fred Caustic has recently joined the staff of Farrar Funeral Home as funeral director and embalmer. He is a long time funeral director and embalmer from the state of Florida, and now resides in Dandridge, TN with his wife, Ginger and daughter, Rianna. Fred and his family attend the First United Methodist Church of Dandridge. |  | Sandra Combs Office Manager Sandra is the funeral home office manager at our Jefferson City location. She is the former Sandra Hodge and is married to Max Combs of Rutledge. They are members of Oakland Baptist Church in Grainger County, TN. They have one child, Bethany Combs Morgan and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Makayla Morgan. | | | Patsy Moyers Secretary Mrs. Moyers is the secretary at our chapel in White Pine. Having been previously employed as secretary at First Baptist Church in White Pine for more than 18 years, Patsy joined the funeral home staff in 1998. She is the former Patsy Goforth and was married to Lloyd Moyers Jr. until his death. They have two children, Tracy Moyers and Stacey Moyers and are all active members of the White Pine community. | | | Kelly Hance Funeral Assistant Kelly is employed by the firm as a funeral assistant. He is the son of Harry Hance and the late Charlotte Choate Hance. Kelly is also a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. | | | Johnny Walker Funeral Director/embalmer Johnny Walker is employed as a funeral director and embalmer. He has been in the funeral business for eight years and is married to Pam Walker and has one son, Lex Coffey. He is a graduate of Jefferson Sate Community College in Birmingham, AL. |  | Sammy Solomon Funeral Assistant Sammy is employed by the firm as a funeral assistant. He is the son of Frank and Nancy Solomon and is married to the former Leigh Patterson. Sammy is active in the New Market Fire Department and Rescue Team, where he is Commander of Administration. |  | Jimmy Satterfield Funeral Assistant Jimmy is employed as a funeral assistant with the funeral home. He lives in Jefferson City and also teaches agriculture at Jefferson County High School. He is the son of Kathryn and the late Don Satterfield, who was employed by Farrar Funeral Home for 50 years before his death. Jimmy has one daughter, Lora. |
