 | Jeremy Hansen Owner/Funeral Director Jeremy Hansen joined the Fassbender staff in 2004 and was involved with the merging of the Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home in 2006. Currently he is the business owner of both, Fassbender and Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Homes. Born in Marquette, Jeremy is a graduate of the Marquette Senior High School. He later enrolled at Wayne State University graduating in 1997 where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. Jeremy is married to Kimber and the couple resides in Marquette. He currently serves as District 10 Vice President for Michigan Funeral Directors Association and serves as member of the Marquette General Hospital Pastoral Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Marquette Noon Kiwanis Club and St. Michael Catholic Church in Marquette. In his spare time Jeremy enjoys biking, golfing, and skiing. | |
 | John Oberstar Funeral Director John Oberstar joined the Fassbender staff in 1974, receiving his license in 1978. He is a graduate of Cincinatti College of Mortuary Science in 1978 along with being a member of St. Christophers Catholic Church, Marquette. | |
 | Gordon Peterson Funeral Director Gordy has been a life long resident of Marquette. A 1964 graduate Graveraet High School, 1971 graduate of Wayne State School of Mortuary Science and 1972 graduate of Northern Michigan University. Gordy served as a United States Naval hospital corpsman in the Vietnam era. He is married to the former Roberta Uren. Gordy and Bobbi have two daughters, Jennifer and Joann and several grandchildren. Gordy has been a director at the funeral home since 1971. After almost 40 years of service, Gordy has semi-retired to enjoy more time with his family and within the community. He is actively involved in the Masonic family, Lions Club, Elks, American Legion and serves on the Marquette County Transit Authority. | |
 | David Lundquist Funeral Director Dave has been a life long resident of Marquette. A graduate of Graveraet High School, also a graduate of Wayne State School of Mortuary Science and a graduate of Northern Michigan University. Dave is married to the former Carol Heiser, and together they have three children, Lisa, Lauri and Andrew and three grandchildren. Dave is the former owner of Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home and has semi-retired in 2006, actively spending his winters in Florida and summers back in Marquette. He is a member of the Masonic bodies, Kiwanis, Elks, Marquette Golf and County Club and serves on the board of directors of Wells Fargo Bank. | |
 | Dona Hansen Office Manager Dona joined the Fassbender Swanson staff in 2006. Born in Ishpeming, she and her husband Steve have resided in the Marquette area since 1978. Together, they have two children, Jeremy and Michael. Prior to working at the funeral home, Dona was employed as a legal assistant for 20 years in the local area. | |
