| VIRGINIA BEACH - Romana Palos Lomboy went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2007 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Natividad, Pangasinan, Philippines on November 27, 1938, she immigrated to the United States in 1994. She lived and worked in Atlantic City, NJ until her recent retirement when she moved to Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Onofre Lomboy and her father, Roman Palos.
Survivors include her mother, Margarita Palos of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Leah Lomboy; three sons, Elmer Lomboy and his wife, Gladys, Israel Lomboy and his wife, Evangeline, and Larry Lomboy and his wife, Agnes all of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Erlinda Palos of Somers Point, NJ, Feliza Palos of Virginia Beach, and Leonora Langit and her husband, Solomon of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; four brothers, Bienvenido Palos and his wife, Jewell of Chesapeake, Moises Palos and his wife, Marcelina of San Diego, CA; Romulo Palos and his wife, Virginia of Virginia Beach, and Ricardo Palos and his wife, Terri of Somers Point, NJ; seven grandchildren, Andrei, Von Jaryll, Bettina, Cheryll, and Lara all of the Philippines, and Liebe Janine and Fritzjan of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who love her so much. Catholic Prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Fr. Edward Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
