Mr. S. Scott Stroud is the Pre-Planning Coordinator of the Graham Funeral Homes.  A native of Chesapeake and a resident of the Tidewater area for most of his life, he and his wife, Amy, reside with their daughters in the Hickory area.  They are active in the community and are members of Bethel Baptist Church.
Scott entered funeral service in 1985 and graduated from the Mid-America College of Mortuary Science in Indiana in 1993.  He was licensed as a funeral director and embalmer that same year and is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina.  He also holds a Virginia insurance license which qualifies him to pre-arrange, issue, and administer pre-need insurance trusts for pre-paid funeral expenses.  If you have previously made arrangements with another funeral home and wish to change, Scott will be pleased to assist you in arranging the transfer.  He is, therefore, committed to meeting the needs and desires of the families who call upon us for their pre-arrangements by providing a meaningful Christian service.
