| CHESAPEAKE- Virginia Dare Asbell, 88, went to be with the Lord October 19, 2009. A native of South Norfolk, she was the wife of the late Willie L. Asbell.
Survivors are a daughter, Diane Overton of Chesapeake; a step-daughter, Barbara Edwards and her husband Charles of Virginia Beach; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and three nephews. A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. | ||
