| NORFOLK—Marie H. Jones, 85, of the 2400 block of Tullibee Drive, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2009. A native of Eden, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hallie Rowe and the wife of Iver L. Jones. She was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church and its Open Door Bible Class and a member of the Auxiliary of Gideons International, Norfolk Camp.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Alfred White and his wife, Debby and Jerry White, all of Norfolk; five grandchildren, Rebekah Lynch and her husband, Jay; Elisabeth White; Barbara White; Sarah Jones;, and Paul Thomas Jones and his wife, Lisa; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in Kempsville Baptist Church, Virginia Beach with Dr. Kelly Burris officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions should be made to Gideons International, Norfolk Camp, P. O.
