Mrs. Evdokia March of Milford, PA, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 85.
She was born August 5, 1922 in Siberia, the daughter of the late Timothy and the late Katherine Dolhyck.
She was a member of St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Glen Spey.
A family statement read: “ She was a giving, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed to cook and garden. She supported and loved her family and will be greatly missed.”
Surviving are:
2 Daughters: Lillian March of Milford, PA
Maria Babanskyj and her husband Nicholas of Indiana
4 grandchildren: Eric and Valentina Babanskyj, Zoriana and Christopher Kornienko
1 Great-granddaughter: Ella Babanskyj
She was predeceased by 8 brothers and 1 sister.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, Inc, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 3:00 – 5:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 with a 10:15am prayer at the funeral home followed by a 11:00am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2104 Co. Rte. 41, Glen Spey, NY with Rev. Yaroslav Kostyk officiating.
Burial will be at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey, NY.
