Mr. Ralph T. Mascolo of Town Godeffroy, NY and a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at home. He was 83.
He was born January 16, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Severino and the late Irene Desena Mascolo.
He married Josephine Calrow 61 years ago on January 18, 1947 in Queens, NY. Josephine predeceased him 1 week ago on October 17, 2008.
Ralph worked for Schaffer Brewery as a delivery man. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union, New York City, NY.
Ralph was a member of Holy Name R.C. Church, Otisville, NY, the Knights Of Columbus #471, Port Jervis, NY and Port Jervis Elks Lodge No. 645.
2 Sons: Ralph Mascolo and his wife Kate and Michael Mascolo. 1 Daughter: Irene Mascolo and her life partner Laura Inzerillo
Brother-in-Law: Kenneth Calrow
Grandsons: Ralph & Paul Mascolo
Granddaughters: Christina & Jaclyn Mascolo
Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 with 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church, 45 Highland Avenue, Otisville, NY 10963 with Monsignor Peter Tran Van Phat officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Name Of Jesus Church Cemetery, Otisville, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus #471, 63 Seward Ave., Port Jervis, NY 12771.
