Mrs. Mary Ann Rohner of Port Jervis, NY went home to the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2009 with her family by her side, after a 9 year courageous battle with cancer. She was 60.
She was born December 9, 1948 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Theodore J. and the late Frances G. Janosko Suchoruki
Mary Ann married James Rohner, Jr. 30 years ago on January 20, 1979 in St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Port Jervis, NY.
A family statement read: ''Mary Ann was a very loving and supportive wife and mother. She never missed any of her three sons sporting, school events, games, or activities. She was proud to have been chosen as grand marshal for the Relay for Life in Port Jervis in 2001.
Throughout her battle with cancer, which involved weekly treatments for over nine years, she never complained of pain or discomfort. She was always concerned only with the well being of our family. The family deeply appreciates the efforts of Dr. Robert Dinsmore as well as the nurses and staff at Crystal Run Health Care.’’

Sister: Suzanne Suchoruki & her companion Robert Eilert of Sparrowbush, NY.

Predeceased Sister: Dianne Suchoruki
Friends may call at GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 2pm – 4pm & 6pm – 9pm.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 18, 2009 with a 9:00AM Prayer at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev. George Hafemann officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
