Mrs. Leanda Jane Miller of Middletown, NY, formerly of Vernon, NJ, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus with her family by her side. She was 72.
She was born April 27, 1937 in Patterson, NJ the daughter of the late George F. and the late Catherine Butz Webster.
She was married to her husband John S. Miller for 52 years.
She was a member of the Good Shepard Church in Sussex, NJ. She was a member of the Hardyston Senior Citizens and the Senior Citizens Bowling League.
A family statement read: Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom enjoyed dancing, bowling, shopping and going to the beauty salon, also giving gifts as her token of apprieciation.

2 Sons: John Miller of Morristown, NJ
George Miller of Mansfield, CT
2 Daughters: Leanda McCooey and her husband Bill of Port Jervis
Loretta Miller and her companion Bill Kennedy of Franklin, NJ
6 Grandchildren: TJ Cox, Danny Cox, Michael Willey, Zachary Dagis, Christopher Cox, and Shannon McCooey.
1 Great Grandson: Damian Cox
She was predeceased by her brother Peter Webster and her granddaughter Kristi Lee Cox.

Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Friday, June 5, 2009 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 12 Noon in Gray-Parker Funeral Home, with Rev. Fain Webb officiating.

Burial will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 149 Madison Ave., Gift Processing Center, New York, NY 10016.
