Mr. Edward C. Holden Montague, NJ Mr. Edward C. Holden of Montague, NJ a retired engineer with Hess Oil Co. in Woodbridge, NJ and 20 year resident of the area, died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. He was 79. He was born June 8, 1925 in Tenafly, NJ the son of the late Dermot and the late Carrie Dietz Holden. A Navy Submarine veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Submarine Veterans and Port Jervis Country Club. Surviving are: Wife: Shirley Carpenter Holden at home Son: Dale Holden & his wife, Deborah Andover, NJ Daughter: Lynn Holden Sparta, NJ Sister: Alice Patricia Curtin Dover, NJ 5 Grandchildren Also Nieces A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 1:00 PM at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY with Rev.
