Mrs. Phoebe Cron of Newburgh, NY and former resident of Port Jervis, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 82.
She was born May 29, 1924 in Pine Bush, NY the daughter of the late Charles and the late Phoebe Purcell Romer.
She was the widow of the late Everett Cron; he died July 25, 1976.
She was a Life Member of the DAV and Roosa - Fleming V.F.W. Post No. 161 Auxiliary, Port Jervis and a member of the Tri-State Country and Western Association.
Surviving are:
Son: Allen Cron and his wife, Teresa of New Windsor. 2 Grandchidren: Stuart Cron of Walden, NY and Lisa Fisher of Danbury, CT
6 great-grandchildren: Katlin, Kendra, Nicholas Colin, Alexa and Branden. Also nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis.
Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.
