Alice J. Conklin of Bloomingburg, NY & formerly of Port Jervis, NY and a longtime resident of the area died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus. She was 48.

She was born July 15, 1960 in Muskegon, MI the daughter of Paul Blow, Sr., and Sandra K. Wisemen.

Alice worked for Ball Metal Containers in Middletown, NY as a Technician.

A family statement read: ´´Mom was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend who was devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was caring and compassionate always there to help those in need.´´

Surviving are:
Father: Paul Blow, Sr. & his wife Virginia of Terrell, TX
Mother: Sandra Jenkins of Woodburne, NY.
Daughter: Joyce Conklin & her companion Dion Cauthen, Sr. of Bloomingburg, NY
Daughter: Jennifer Conklin of Cuddebackville, NY
Son: Steven R. Conklin currently serving in the U.S. Navy stationed in Burmington, WA.
Former Husband: Richard H. Conklin, Jr. of Cuddebackville, NY.
Brother: Paul Blow, Jr. and his wife April of Okolona, Mississippi.
Brother: Charles Blow of Newton, NJ
Sister: Sharon Barker of Vonore, TN
2 Grandchidren: Dion Cauthen, Jr. & Kayanna Cauthen. Also several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces And Nephews.
Close Friend And Niece: Tammy Brown & her Family of Middletown, NY. Best Friend: Brigette Stanley of Middletown, NY
Good Friend: John Wyman of Milford, PA
Predeceased Son: Kenneth M. Conklin
Predeceased Sister: Karen Kessler

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 8 :15 PM in Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev. Joseph Iannone officiating.

Cremation will follow at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
