Cuddebackville, NY
Mr. Russell W. Jenkins Sr. of Cuddebackville, NY and a lifetime resident of the area, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at home. He was 78.
He was born June 6, 1931 in Warwick, NY the son of the late Edward and the late Abby Riggs Jenkins.
Russell was married to the late Beatrice VanRiper Jenkins who died on March 15, 1996.
Russell was born and raised working on farms throughout the area. He worked for the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, NJ an later for Elaine’s Fashions in Port Jervis.
A family statement read: ''Russell was a loving Father and Grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.''
Surviving are:
1 Son: Russell Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Lancaster, PA. 2 Daughters: Susan Lemin and her companion Russ Ludemann of Cuddebackville, NY and Bonnie Arista of Splendora, TX.
1 Brother: Alex Jenkins of Glen Spey, NY
2 Sisters: Ida Stephanatos of Kingston, NY and Edith Nagy of Columbus, GA
8 Grandchildren: Candice DeGraw, Shelley Dauberman, Jose Arista, Jr., Amanda Arista, Daniel Arista, Adrian Jenkins, Edward Flores, IV & Dominga Flores
9 Great Grandchildren
2 Great Great Grandsons
2 Predeceased Grandsons: Michael Musser & Russell W. Jenkins, III
2 Predeceased Sisters: Martha and Josephine

Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Thursday, August 6th 2009 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 at at 2:00 pm in Gray-Parker Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.
